In an effort to mitigate the spread of the Covid19 virus (commonly known as Coronavirus) TechDay will not take place on the date it was originally planned. The new date has been announced as October 23rd and will be at the Javits Center. Read the statement below by Walter Charnizon, President of Continental Exhibitions.
Yesterday, in accordance with governmental guidelines, the Javits Center announced that they would not host any events before April 22nd, making it impossible for us to produce TechDay New York as originally scheduled.
As a result, TechDay New York will now take place on October 23rd, at the Javits Center, in Exhibit Hall 1A.
In addition, we have made the decision to reschedule TechDay Founders Summit; and it will be held on August 14th, at Convene, at 730 3rd Avenue.
We are proud to let you know that nearly every one of our sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, and speakers has confirmed that they will be there when TechDay opens its doors in October and those that have not yet reconfirmed their participation expect to be able to do so within the coming days.
And we are especially excited to let you know that in just the 24 hours since we announced these changes new companies have reserved their place both at TechDay New York, and TechDay Founders Summit.
We know that these are trying, even frightening, times. However, we also know that this community is strong, and filled with the kinds of members that will support one another. Together we will work to build strong, sustainable businesses.
Thanks to Walter Charnizon for providing A Better Mousetrap with a statement. We look forward to the event in October. It’s always a highlight of the year. For more information go to the TechDay New York page
